AIC Land is increasing its overseas sales. It also joined hands with the British semiconductor fabless company ARM (ADP). Lee said, Island is a semiconductor design house that can be designed directly unlike competitors.
In Korea, SK Telecom's own artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor 'SAPion X220', the system on-chip (SOC) design, Beck end design, server system production, and development. Currently, AI-based real-time video quality is being improved. The sapion designs the nerve network processing device (CPU) and the AIC Land is in charge of the central processing device (CPU), the peripheral device connection (PCI), and a double data rate (DDR). Lee said, When the customer develops the next product, we are also looking for Magic Land. We are also making the next generation of products following Sapion's first AI semiconductor. Sapion started with SK Telecom as a challenge to improve the SK Group AI environment and established an independent subsidiary this year in Santa Clara, California, USA.
There are 150 AIC Land employees. It started with two people and increased significantly in six years. Last year, it recorded sales of 45.3 billion won. This year, it was expected to be 80 billion won.

AIC Land hires new employees every year and merge its subsidiaries.

At the end of last year, Island received the Presidential Citation in the start-up company at the 2021 Venture Entrepreneurship Promotion Awards held by the Small and Medium Venture Business Department at the El Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.
