Techland presents a unique short documentation in which viewers experience why the music in Dying Light 2 Stay Human is so special.
In the documentation, Techland reveals details of the creation of soundtracks to the game as well as the inspiration and the goals that headed the composer Olivier derivière (Streets of Rage 4, Vampyr, A Plague Tale: Innocence) during work on the soundtrack with London Contemporary Orchestra to have. The video throws a look behind the scenes of Abbey Road Studios, one of the most famous studios of Great Britain, which was already used by artists such as the Beatles, Pink Floyd and U2.
In addition, Techland gave further insights into the approach of the composer to video games, and how his vision and music were implemented in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Thanks to the cooperation between Olivier and the sound-level designers at Techland, players will be able to experience the unique soundtrack, which changes under the influence of decisions in the game.
The short documentary is based on many production aspects of soundtrack recording, including the unusual reception conditions that the authors forced due to the global pandemic situation to record individual parts of the orchestra separately for the first time.
